Your Local Water Damage Restoration Experts in Newark, DE
Newark AquaRestore was founded by Michael 'Mike' Chen with a clear mission: to provide rapid, reliable water damage restoration services right here in our New Castle County community. Having lived and worked in Newark for years, Mike understood the unique challenges our local homes face, from the older housing stock in Downtown Newark to the newer developments in Hillside Heights. Our humid subtropical climate, with its hot summers and cold winters, often brings heavy rains and potential for burst pipes, making prompt and effective water extraction crucial. Mike established Newark AquaRestore at 81 E Park Place, ensuring we're always close by when residents in areas like West Newark, South Newark, and Oaklands need us most.
What sets Newark AquaRestore apart is our deep commitment to our neighbors. We're not a faceless national chain; we're owner-operated, and Mike personally oversees much of our work, bringing his extensive experience as a Lead Restoration Specialist to every job. We understand that water damage isn't just a structural problem; it's a disruption to your life. Whether it's a basement flood near the Newark Reservoir or a pipe burst affecting a home close to the University of Delaware, we prioritize clear communication, upfront quotes, and workmanship you can inspect. Our team is trained to handle everything from initial emergency water extraction to complete drying and dehumidification, always considering the specific conditions of Newark properties.
We've built our reputation on trust and thoroughness, serving not just Newark but also our neighbors in nearby cities like Wilmington and Hockessin. What Newark, DE Customers Say
“We had a pipe burst in our basement near Main Street during that cold snap last January. Water was everywhere. Newark AquaRestore was out within an hour, got all the water extracted, and set up their drying equipment. They even helped us move some of our boxes to a dry spot. The basement was completely dry and odor-free in just a few days. Couldn't have asked for better service.”
“A leaky roof led to significant water stains and damage in our upstairs ceiling and attic after a heavy rainstorm. Newark AquaRestore came out, assessed the damage, and gave us a clear plan. They carefully removed the wet drywall, treated for any potential mold, and dried everything thoroughly. It saved us a huge headache, and the repairs look seamless now.”
“Our dishwasher overflowed and soaked our kitchen floor and part of the living room carpet. We called Newark AquaRestore, and they were very responsive. They used their powerful extractors to get most of the water out quickly and then set up air movers and dehumidifiers. They kept us updated on the drying progress, and everything was back to normal faster than we expected. They did a great job.”
